The National Sport Launch is the annual fun-flying event of the National Association of Rocketry. This event is held on Memorial Day weekend each year at a wide variety of locations to give members all around the country an occasional opportunity at a short trip to NSL. This year NSL will be held in Hearne, Texas. Take a look around the site to find out more information. We look forward to seeing you there!

FlisKits, Inc. is proud to continue the tradition of providing commemorative kits for the
National Sport Launch with the announcement of the Stingray model rocket kit. The Stingray
is a new kit offering, available on or before April 2nd and provides a sleek, space-fighter
profile and incredible flights on 18mm motors. While the basic kit does not come with any
marking, leaving decoration up to the mind of the modeler, the first 100 kits off the production
line will come with a free set of body wraps to decorate your Stingray as a member of the NSL Airways.
Other custom marking will be made available for purchase separately to help you with a wide array of
decorating ideas. NOTE: At least 15 of these kits will be held in reserve and sold only at NSL
during their 3 day sport launch.
A design has been selected for the NSL 2004 T-shirt reflecting the themes of fanciful space
exploration alongside an icon of current space exploration. A limited number of shirts will

Art Applewhite Rockets will be offering 5 kits to commorate NSL 2004 being hosted the the
Austin Area Rocketry Group at Hearne, Texas on May 29th through May 31st, 2001.
These rocket feature the official NAR, AARG, NSL 2004 and Art Applewhite Rockets logos
and launch information. The kits include versions of the newly introduced 18mm Qubit,
Stealth, Scimitar and two sizes (18 & 24mm) of Delta Flying Saucers.
They will be available either by mail order from
Art's website from now until May 28, 2004 or at
the Art Applewhite Rockets booth at NSL 2004.
The Squirrel Works is pleased to announce our selection as one of
three vendors to provide NSL 2004 with official commemorative kits.
Our kit, The Spirit of Texas,
is a special edition of our popular
Space Ranger with a redesigned cockpit, theme space plane decals and a
full color commemorative facecard. The Spirit of Texas, like all Squirrel Works rockets features laser
cut fins, water slide decals and a mylar recovery system. This is a limited run of 100 kits, with the edition number and size
machine printed directly on each face card. Any kits not sold by June
1, 2004 will be destroyed to help preserve the collectiblity of the issue.
NSL 2004 will be held Saturday May 29 through Monday May 31 2004 (Memorial Day weekend) at the airport at
Hearne, Texas.
